Using players on the ice, Ewen demonstrates the goal of checking, how to receive a check and how to give a check. Ewen illustrates the 'hunter vs. duck' drill, which is a good introductory drill for teaching the check - including how to accept the check. The next phase of teaching is dealing with the corners.
