An effective warmup is essential to performing your best and preventing injuries. This dvd includes 10 activities that combine technique drills, stretches and build up work.

Proper foot and leg positioning tecniques, plus precise arm motion will eliminate "breaking". A 30-minute complete guide for coaching the block starts includes: 1) setting the block, 2) backing into the block, 3) proper foot positioning in the blocks, 4) setting the hands, proper body alignment, and balance, 5) all aspects of the "take your mark" and "set" positions, 6) proper mechanics for getting out of the blocks properly on the gun, and 7) starting on the curve. Each phase is thoroughly explained and includes tips that will give your sprinters the best start they can ever have. Five of the most common start errors are explained by "Doc" Patton, along with detailed analysis of the negative effect each error can have on the start. It is vital to know what not to do on the start.
